Introducing Paid Work Experience
The Employer Accelerator Programme
The Bridge has teamed up with The Essex Growth Agency to provide an incredible work experience offer to businesses. The Essex Youth Employment Accelerator Programme provides employers with funding to cover the wage costs of employing a young person aged 16-19 who is NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) or at risk of becoming NEET.
The programme aims to help young people gain workplace experience, develop skills and progress into sustainable employment, apprenticeships, education or training.
This is a paid work experience programme, which incurs zero cost to the business, but allows you to develop an inclusive talent pipeline into your business
- Host a paid work placement for between 16 and 25 hours per week over 12 weeks
- Receive recruitment and matching support
- Receive ongoing support throughout the placement
- Receive reimbursement of agreed wage cost
