The Library Enterprise Project is an exciting new collaboration between Essex Library Service and The Bridge, designed to open doors and create meaningful opportunities for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
At its heart, the project blends enterprise, skills development, and real-world experience – using our libraries as inclusive community spaces where SEND students can build confidence, develop employability skills, and explore pathways into work and enterprise. From hands‑on activities to supported engagement with local employers, the project focuses on turning potential into possibility.
But this journey isn’t one we take alone.
