Connect to Work is a free, flexible programme that helps people in Essex who are out of work or struggling to stay in employment. It also supports local employers to build inclusive, resilient teams by offering tailored recruitment and workplace support – at no cost.

Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), it is delivered in partnership with local authorities and expert providers across Essex, Southend-on-Sea, and Thurrock.
Who can apply for Connect to Work
Connect to Work supports people who are:

not currently in paid work
-
actively seeking employment
-
employed but at risk of dropping out of work

disabled, with a disability or a long-term health condition, as defined in the Equality Act 2010 or the Social Model of Disability

part of a specified disadvantaged group with complex needs that would benefit from extra support.
