Basildon Council has partnered with local providers of skills, training and career advice to create the Advice Store.
The Basildon Advice Store:
- supports local people in a warm and accessible space
- helps residents to find work or more fulfilling, secure and better-paid employment
- supports residents looking to gain new skills or retrain
Guidance and support are available for anyone who is:
- looking to update their skills
- currently unemployed
- a recent education leaver, or will soon be leaving full-time education
Services and support available
The Basildon Advice Store can help with:
- CV writing
- Interview skills
- Mental health support
- Nationally-recognised qualifications in multiple industries
- Bespoke support for those with additional or complex needs
- Recruitment drives with local agencies
