Summary

Join our experienced team of engine builders working on a variety of both turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines, used across a broad range of applications. During the apprenticeship, you will be taught through on-the-job training and college leave to attain a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship.

Day to day role responsibilities will include: 

  • Stripping and cleaning engine assemblies
  • Assembly of sub-assemblies
  • Inspection and testing of components
  • Record keeping (build records & components tested)
  • Facility maintenance

Training To Be Provided

  • The succesful apprentice will be working towards an industry recognised Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship Standard including an EAL Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and manufacturing support technologies
  • All college attendance will be at Colchester Institute at our Colchester Campus one day per week
  • The final apprenticeship completion certificate will be issued on achievement of the above qualification and successful completion of end point assessment
