This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Accountant. You will gain hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. AAT), supported by a structured training and development programme. No prior accounting experience is needed – just a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Assist in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Support audit fieldwork and client site visits (as needed)
- Process bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients
- Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Use accounting software and Excel to maintain financial records
- Support senior staff with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks

The successful candidate will be required to attend weekday courses, once a week, at First Intuition to study towards their AAT Level 3 qualification as well as mentoring towards the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
