Working within our Reception Team helping patients access Primary Care, the Apprentice Care Navigator/Receptionist will greet and direct patients, manage appointments, distribute prescriptions and forms, respond to queries, answer calls, and perform admin tasks.
- Greeting and directing all patients
- Making appointments
- Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions, letters completed, forms, specimen bottles, etc.
- Dealing with requests for information and patient enquiries
- Advising patients of practice procedures
- Answering the telephone in a polite, professional manner
- Dealing with online queries
- Administration tasks including scanning and coding documents
